Email Address:

One day about 12 years ago, as I was walking through St. Joseph Church, I passed by the Tabernacle and clearly heard, “Nancy, I’m calling you”. It was a bit shocking to hear this as I noticed there was no one in the church except me. I looked at the Tabernacle and quickly ran out of the church. Today I realize it was Jesus calling me into a personal relationship with him. That encounter lead me to begin volunteering  with teens who were behind on their sacraments, and also was the path used to teach me the Catholic Faith with new eyes and ears to learn the beauty and true gift of the Catholic Church. I taught these classes for three years at St. Agnes in Fowlerville and went on to become the youth minister at St. Joseph in Howell where I have served for the past 8 years. Youth ministry was very exciting and quickly morphed into a family affair as my husband Dan helped me facilitate Life-Teen events, retreats, and three of my four children went through the program. This past year I sensed God was calling me again, but where was very unclear. As I prayed, it seemed God opened the door when the position of DRE at St. Mary’s became available. I have great love and devotion to the Blessed Mother and through her intercession I look forward to serving her son Jesus and this parish community. I love to meet and talk with people so please stop by for a visit anytime.
