REDISCOVERING CATHOLICISM sessions (1 hour) begin Tuesday, June 24th at 7:00 PM in St. Joseph Hall. These meetings fit for interested inactive Catholics or those who have questions. There is a $3.00 suggested donation per CD.AN INTRODUCTION TO THE NEW TESTAMENT is a course offered on Friday evenings for 12 weeks beginning September 5, 2008. Kevin Perrotta has agreed to be the teacher again after his successful Old Testament Course this past winter. The course will be taught in St. Joseph Hall from 7:00 to 9:00 PM on Fridays. A brochure and schedule for this will be found in the Gathering area of the church. Bring your Bible. The course is free, but please call the parish office to indicate you will be attending. UPDATE YOUR KNOWLEDGE OF CATHOLICIM by a weekly tour through the United States Catholic Catechism for Adults published in 2006 by the U.S. Conference of Bishops. Join John McAuliffe and other parishioners as they read and discuss one chapter at a time of this helpful Catholic resource. Wednesday September 3, 2008 is the opening date at which time the Preface and Introduction will be discussed. The sessions run from 6:45 to 8:30 PM on Wednesdays in St. Mary’s Room. We will go through the one chapter-a-week (36 chapters) during 2008-09.
